Lighthouse Point Fest on Saturday, September 29, 2018
from Noon-1pm
On Saturday, September 29, 2018, the National Lighthouse Museum in association with the Staten Island Creative Community and Creative Photography Guild will host the 3rd Annual Lighthouse Point Fest from 12 pm â 6 pm.
Join us along the waterfront for local arts and crafts vendors, live music on the hour, food vendors, and crafts for kids. Free admission to the National Lighthouse Museum included.
Legendary Soups from Legendary Lighthouses Soup Tasting Contest will take place from 12 pm â 2 pm.
Cost: Suggested donation to the National Lighthouse Museum $3 per person; Soup Contest $ 5 per person. All proceeds help support the NLM.
*Please note, there is no onsite parking. We encourage festival attendees to use public transportation or use the municipal parking lots nearby (Impark with shuttle to the ferry or the Staten Island Courthouse Garage).

Saturday, August 25 at 6 pm, Staten Island Philharmonic will present âAmerica, the Beautiful,â a celebration of the National Park Service Foundersâ Day, at Fort Wadsworth (210 New York Avenue). The program includes John Williamsâ âLiberty Fanfare,â selections from âWest Side Story,â in honor of Leonard Bernsteinâs 100th birthday, âGrand Canyon Suite,â by Ferde GrofĂ©, and much more!

Itâs that time again! SI Philharmonic presents three free, family -friendly outdoor concerts of patriotic, popular, and light classical music to celebrate Independence Day. Highlights include a choral suite from West Side Story, sung by Staten Islandâs Viva Voce Chorus and Brooklynâs Dyker Singers, a tribute to our armed services, the world premiere of American Tapestry, by Howard Fox, and an audience sing-along of patriotic favorites.
